Chaman Checklist - User Guide

🔐 Login
  • Go to checklist.chamanknit.in
  • Enter your Username and Password
  • Your default password is your username followed by 123 (e.g., username rahul → password rahul123)
  • Click "Login"

🔑 Change Password (Important!)
  • After first login, click the 🔑 "Change Password" button in the top bar
  • Enter your current password (e.g., rahul123)
  • Enter your new password and confirm it
  • Click Save — your new password is stored securely
⚠️ Important: Change your default password after first login to keep your account secure.

📲 Save to Home Screen (Easy Access)

On Mobile (Chrome):

  • Open checklist.chamanknit.in in Chrome
  • Tap the 3-dot menu (⋮) at top-right
  • Tap "Add to Home screen"
  • Give it a name like "Chaman Checklist" and tap Add
  • Now you can open it like an app from your home screen!

On Laptop (Chrome):

  • Open the website in Chrome
  • Click the star icon ☆ in the address bar to Bookmark it
  • Or press Ctrl+D to add to bookmarks/favourites

📋 View Your Tasks

After login you'll see your tasks organized in sections:

🔴 Overdue Tasks — Tasks past due date (complete these first!)
🟢 Due Today — Tasks due today
🔵 Upcoming Tasks — Future tasks
✅ Completed Tasks — Tasks you've finished

✅ Mark Task as Done
  • Find your task in the list
  • Click the Done button
  • The task moves to Completed section
  • Your manager gets notified automatically

📅 Edit Due Date
  • If you need more time, click the Edit Due button
  • Select a new date from the calendar
  • Click "Save" to update
Note: Inform your manager about the date change

🔍 View All Tasks
  • Scroll down to "All Tasks" section
  • Use the search box to find specific tasks
  • Filter by date, status, or doer name

📱 Using on Mobile & Laptop

On Laptop / Desktop:

  • Open the website in any browser (Chrome, Edge, etc.)
  • All features are fully visible in landscape view

On Mobile Phone:

  • Open the website link in your mobile browser
  • Rotate your phone to landscape mode (sideways) to see all task details and action buttons clearly
  • In portrait mode, you may need to scroll right to see the "Done" and "Edit Due" buttons
  • Tap "Done" or "Edit Due" just like on laptop
💡 Tip: Rotate your phone sideways (landscape) for the best experience on mobile!
